Newcomb-Endicott Department Store - Old photos

The Newcomb-Endicott store under construction. Instead of opening all at once, each floor opened as departments were completed in 1920-21.

Just six years after being completed, Newcomb-Endicott's main rival, Hudson's - seen at right - bought the store out and demolished the building in order to expand.
