The 18,000-square-foot mansion was designed by George D. Mason & Company for Charles T. Fisher (1880–1963), one of the seven Fisher Brothers and a co-founder of the Fisher Body Company, alongside his brother Frederick.

Previously owned by Michael Fisher, a cousin of the Fisher brothers, it's current owner is actor Hill Harper of CSI: NY and The Good Doctor who bought the house in 2017 for $1.25 million.
